The EXANTE Investor League II, a two-week trading competition run by international investment firm EXANTE and its partners Warwick Trading Society and Amplify Trading finished on January 31, with the overall winner returning more than €100,000! Over a hundred students signed up and tested their skills and experience in trading CME-group futures.
The final days of trading were nerve-wracking and showed just how quickly traders can make and lose money, hour-by-hour and day-by-day! It proved how exciting the EXANTE Investor League is and how you don’t have to have any previous trading experience to take part; with this year’s winner being a complete novice with no formal training. The leader board changed daily, with the overall winner making his way up the leaderboard from third to first. We would like to once again congratulate our winner Adrian Yan (Warwick University) on his achievement and also thank his main competitor, Adam Broadhurst (Coventry University) who was hot on his tail and ended up finishing a close and reputable second.
